This privacy policy explains what information Pandharpur Wari Portal (“we”, “the portal”) collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. The portal is operated independently and can be reached at getinfotoyou@gmail.com.

Automatically collected (server logs)
Like virtually all web servers, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records standard server-access logs: IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, referrer URL, and timestamp. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes and are not shared with third parties.
Web Push notifications (optional)
If you opt in to push notifications by clicking “Subscribe to alerts”, your browser generates a push subscription containing an endpoint URL and encryption keys managed by your browser vendor (e.g. Google FCM for Chrome, Mozilla for Firefox). We store only this subscription data — we do not store your name, email, or any personally identifying information alongside it. You can unsubscribe at any time via your browser’s notification settings; expired or revoked subscriptions are automatically purged.
Contact form / email
If you contact us by email, we retain your message for as long as is necessary to respond and for our records. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Cookies and local storage
The public-facing pages of this portal do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The admin area uses a session cookie (HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict) solely for authentication — this cookie is only set when an administrator logs in and is not accessible to third-party scripts.
2. Google AdSense
Advertising on this portal is currently disabled. If we enable Google AdSense in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect Google’s data practices and the serving of interest-based ads. We will not enable advertising without updating this policy first.
3. How we use information
- Server logs: security monitoring, debugging, and aggregate traffic analysis.
- Push subscriptions: sending you Wari-related notifications (halt updates, safety alerts) if you have opted in.
- Email: responding to your enquiry.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their marketing purposes.
4. Your rights
You may request deletion of your push subscription at any time — either via your browser’s notification settings or by emailing us at getinfotoyou@gmail.com. We will remove it within 30 days of receiving your request.
5. Third-party links
This portal links to external websites (official government sources, MSRTC, media sources for news articles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
6. Changes to this policy
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the portal after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
