Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj Palkhi Commences Journey From Trimbakeshwar

The Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj Palkhi has started its long walk from Trimbakeshwar. The crowds are huge. Thousands of Varkaris are already there to accompany the Palkhi on its traditional route to Pandharpur for the Ashadhi Wari.

This is a major procession heading to the Vitthal Rukmini temple. Devotees from across Maharashtra have joined the Dindi. They walk for days. And the chanting of Mauli, Vitthal, and Rukmini is a constant sound.
