Route and Mukkam Details
It is about 17 kilometers from Saswad down to Jejuri. Officials expect the Palkhi to arrive by evening for the night halt (mukkam). Plan ahead if you are using private vehicles or ST buses. The main Saswad-Jejuri road is completely shut down right now. This allows the crowds to move safely. All regular traffic is taking alternative diversion routes today.
You will find drinking water and mobile toilets set up all along the stretch between Saswad and Jejuri. The roads are quite wet. Because of this, everyone is urged to step carefully on the slippery asphalt.
