Ashadhi Wari is wrapping up. Amidst the विठ्ठलनामाचा गजर, MSRTC has released the live timetable and seat availability for the return journey from Pandharpur. It is a massive operation. To help every माऊली and वारकरी get home safely, ST Mahamandal is running thousands of extra buses, known as Jada Pherya. These depart from temporary stands to cities like Pune and Mumbai.
Bus Stands in Pandharpur for Return Journey
Where do you catch your ride? Varkaris can board from four major temporary stands set up across Pandharpur. Heading to Pune? You will depart from the Vitthal Darshan Bus Stand. Mumbai-bound passengers leave from the Chandrabhaga Bus Stand. Officials expect heavy crowds, so please check display boards at the stands for exact bay allocations.
Ticket Rates and Special Passes
Ticket rates remain unchanged from regular fares. A one-way trip from Pandharpur to Swargate (Pune) is ₹250 for regular Shivshahi buses. Standard Lal Pari (red buses) cost ₹180. Heading to Mumbai (Dadar)? You will pay ₹450 for Shivshahi and ₹320 for standard buses. Also, Varkaris can use special Wari passes if purchased earlier. And women passengers still get a 50% concession on standard fares.
Live Seat Availability and Timings
- Pandharpur to Pune (Swargate/Shivajinagar): Buses depart every 15 minutes. Extra buses will run continuously until 28 July.
- Pandharpur to Mumbai (Dadar/Borivali): Buses depart every 30 minutes. Night services have been increased to clear the rush.
