Live Route Update: Palkhi Progression on Baramati to Sansar Stretch

This concerns Akluj

The Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi has left its Baramati halt. It is now moving steadily toward Sansar. With 'विठ्ठलनामाचा गजर' filling the air, hundreds of thousands of वारकरी are walking this leg to Pandharpur. The main Baramati-Sansar road is clear. Administration officials opened it specifically for the Dindi processions.

Current Location and Next Halt

The Palkhi crossed into the rural stretches just outside Baramati city this morning. Today's Mukkam (overnight halt) is Sansar village. We expect the माऊली devotees to reach the Sansar halt by late afternoon. Local authorities and village residents have already prepared extensive facilities.

Route Conditions and Traffic Diversions

Skies are mostly clear right now. This gives the devotees a very comfortable environment for walking. And officials report no major rain-related diversions on this stretch today.

Traffic police are enforcing strict diversions along the Baramati-Sansar route. Regular vehicles going toward Indapur and Akluj must take alternative bypass roads. The main Palkhi Marg is mostly closed. Only emergency vehicles, water tankers, and official Wari transport are allowed through.

Facilities for Varkaris

You will find several drinking water stations and mobile toilets between Baramati and Sansar. Local authorities set them up. Medical camps sit at every 5 kilometers to offer the वारकरी immediate first aid and medicines. The administration has a clear message. They urge all devotees to stay hydrated and use the designated medical tents if fatigue sets in.

We are tracking the Palkhi. Real-time updates will continue as it nears Sansar.
