Ashadhi Wari 2026 is finally nearing Pandharpur. Excitement is sky-high. Every वारकरी (Varkari) on the route is waiting for the traditional Ringan ceremonies. The next 24 hours are huge. We will see the famous Gol Ringan (circular formation) and the Uba Ringan (straight formation). These take place at key spots like Velapur and Wakhari.

The Ringan is pure emotion. Lakhs of devotees fill a massive open field. And the atmosphere echoes with a loud विठ्ठलनामाचा गजर. Dindis circle up. They leave a wide, clear path right in the middle. Suddenly, the sacred Ashwa of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj run free. It is a sight that moves every single माऊली present to tears. Dust flies up from the horses' hooves. Upcoming Schedule

• Velapur Gol Ringan: Expected tomorrow morning. Devotees should arrive at the ground by 6:00 AM to secure a viewing spot. The actual run of the Ashwa typically happens between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM, depending on the pace of the Palkhi.
• Dhava (The Run): Following the Ringan at Velapur, the procession will move towards the next halt. The traditional Dhava, where Varkaris run to remember how Sant Tukaram Maharaj ran upon seeing the temple shikhar of Pandharpur, will take place near Velapur.
• Wakhari Uba Ringan: Scheduled for the day after tomorrow. This is one of the final major Ringans before the Palkhis enter Pandharpur. The Uba Ringan, where the horses run in a straight line, is an inspiring tradition in the Wakhari fields. The expected time is late afternoon around 4:00 PM.

Facilities and Crowd Monitoring
